Both of the longest recorded rolls happened at the same casino and involved female shooters. Whether this is merely sampling bias, luck, or something about the environment of that specific casino is not clear from the available data.

Demauro reportedly worked at a money market firm. She was not a professional gambler. She had no special throwing technique that would violate casino rules. She simply rolled the dice and beat odds that should have eliminated her dozens of times over during the roll.
